Tim Auld is executive editor at Financial Times How To Spend It magazine.

His interviews, features and reviews have appeared in The Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, The Times Literary Supplement, The Stage and The World of Interiors. He was chief book reviewer on the website The First Post when it was launched in 2005. Recent book serialisations include the Mail on Sunday's two-part serialisation of Nick Robinson's Election Notebook and Edward Stourton's Auntie's War.

He blogs on theatre at The Theatre Review.

He worked for many years for the Telegraph Media Group, where he wrote lead and cover interviews for the The Sunday Telegraph Magazine and Stella magazine, opinion and comment pieces for The Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, theatre, book and restaurant reviews, interiors features and travel articles.

He taught English literature at Oxford University in the early 1990s and has a DPhil on the theatre of Alan Ayckbourn.

He is married with two children and lives in London.
